About Mackondor Mining (SL) Limited

Pioneering Responsible Mineral Exploration & Ethical Trade Across West Africa

Our Story

A single vision — unlock mineral wealth responsibly

Mackondor Mining (SL) Limited was established with a singular vision: to unlock the immense mineral wealth of West Africa through responsible exploration, ethical trade, and community-centered development. Registered as a large-scale mining company in Sierra Leone, we have grown into a recognized leader in gold and diamond exploration, extraction, purchasing, and export across the West African sub-region.

Our journey began with the strategic partnership of two distinguished individuals — Sir Patrick Bijou, a seasoned investment banker with extensive international experience, and Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed Boima, a respected leader deeply rooted in the local mining landscape and community leadership. Together, they forged a company that bridges global standards with local authenticity.

From our headquarters in Sierra Leone, Mackondor Mining has expanded its footprint across multiple West African jurisdictions, each operation backed by valid dealer licenses and export licenses that affirm our commitment to legal compliance and international best practices. We do not merely extract minerals; we build relationships, foster development, and create sustainable value for all stakeholders.

Mission & Vision

and where we are going

Core Values

Six principles that govern
every decision we make

Integrity

We conduct every aspect of our business with honesty, transparency, and accountability. From mineral traceability to financial reporting, integrity is the bedrock of our operations.

Excellence

We pursue the highest standards in exploration technology, mineral grading, logistics management, and customer service. Excellence is not a goal—it is our baseline.

Community First

We recognize that the land belongs to the people. Our loyalty programs, employment practices, and development initiatives prioritize the well-being of landholding families and host communities.

Sustainability

Environmental protection is integral to our operations. We employ modern, low-impact extraction methods and invest in land rehabilitation and water conservation.

Compliance

We adhere strictly to national and international mining laws, tax obligations, and ethical sourcing standards. Every mineral we trade is fully documented and conflict-free.

Partnership

We view our relationships with investors, buyers, local miners, and governments as long-term partnerships built on mutual respect, shared value, and collective success.
